If taking the car - from the M4

From the M4, exit at junction 15. Then take the A346 south towards Marlborough. Turn off the A346 immediately after passing the Ogbourne Downs Golf Club. Turn right at the end of the slip road, go under the bridge, pass the pub on the left and take the first right onto the high street. Then travel past the Parklands hotel and Lavender House is about 100 metres from The Parklands. Lavender House is the first house on the right past Jubbs Lane. There is a trampoline and a double door garage outside. 

If taking the car - from the south

Take the A346 through Marlborough, towards Swindon.  After approx. 4 miles take the left turning signposted Ogbourne St George. Follow the road round then take the first turn left sign posted Swindon. Pass the Parklands Hotel on your right then Lavender House is about 100 metres up the road on your right. We are the first house on the right past Jubbs Lane. 

Walking the Ridgeway Trail, from Avebury.

The Ridgeway Trail touches the edge of the village of Ogbourne St George when it briefly travels along the road to Chiseldon.  At this point leave the Ridgeway Trail and walk into the village.  If you wish take time to visit the Church, which dates back to Norman times.  The detour is on your left just before you cross the small River Og.  Once you have crossed over the River Og (just a small stream!), Lavender House B+B is 400 metres on your left. It is the second house on your left once you have passed the village hall, bus shelter and Liddiards Green.
